They filmed Red Dawn in my hood.  Plus a ton of my friends were extras, so I can't wait to see it.  Not to mention, the original Red Dawn was one of my fav cheesy 80's movies.

From what I heard, the delay in releasing it was bc of political correctness BS, they wanted to change the "bad guys" from Chinese to North Korean, so they had a lot of editing and reshooting to do.

Fucking horrible movie. If there is a spoiler code on here I don't know how it works.

It started to get bad with all of the love story bullshit, but I can over look that. I can't over look the fact that the whiny little shit-stain fuck up little brother that screws over everybody because he wants some pussy, ends up being the hero. You get your friends killed, your brother killed, and you jeopardize the only organized American fighting force in the region. It was all worth it though because you saved some dumb slutty highschool girl that has no training, or value in a fight, of any kind. Good fucking job.

And the whole movie didn't really convey a sense of struggle or desperation like the origional, and the psycho blood thirsty guy wasn't psycho or blood thirsty.
