One of these days, I'll get back to work on my other site which at some point I will considering replacing these forums with my new homebrewed ones...

While lacking on some features, it also has some that not many, if any other's have.

There's just one possible hiccup... depending on how things work out with me and a new girl (sadly first in a while) over the next few weeks/months, that project will be put on indefinite hiatus and my time developing even here will be reduced substantially (not that it really was present over the last several months anyways)...

lol, she doesn't like to spend much time on computers. She says it strains her eyes after like 30 mins...

I just don't want to mess it up because I'm truly happy when I'm with her, more so than when I'm on the computer playing games.

I have to agree with Venom. DO NOT let her know you are whooped. As much as you like the girl, you have to let her know you will do what you want...when you want. If you lean too much, she will own you...Like i said, get her interested in what you do, and it will all be much easier. Don't get interested in what she likes cause you'll get bored sooner or later.

Yeah, well I haven't done any web sites (for profit) for a long time and I've lost interest in them altogether months ago (way before meeting her). Just not enough time or motivation. It was a hobby that felt like a second job and I think that's what got to me (I believe Waysa said something of the sort years ago when I took over the site). With side jobs for electrical and construction all the time too, websites have been put on the back burner.

I appreciate the advice and I'll def work on it. I've been trying to spend less time on the computer over the last few months to better myself for me, not her. But who knows, you guys may have just kicked my ass into gear...
