Pretty much all I ever use. Pick up random weapons along the way from people I kill. On a rare occasion I will pick up a .50 Sniper Rifle, but I get bored with it rather quick. I like to charge and shoot snipers in the back of the head with the pistol.

Im a huge fan of the g3, and the m14 if i recall (god its been too long)
Both are soldier class, soany kit can use, and they are both pretty powerful, accurate, and easy to aim with the good ol' irons.

iirc, you can use the g3 and the m14 with any class, just like the shotguns...

yea, soldier class weapons can be used by any class/kit.  thats the shotties, g3, m14, m1, and thompson, maybe a few others (i dont remember em all)

i would consider them to be in a general class, since it's in the same category as pistols and can be used by all roles.  some may not think of a medic or a sniper as a soldier, since they have a more specialized role in combat, but i could be wrong.

on a side note, is the m1 garand still bugged out?
