do u plan on using any legacy cards? i don't think so, but it's always an option. most hardware vendors include 64 bit drivers, and any who do not include 64 bit drivers are stupid.
all of the drivers that i use all include 64 bit drivers, and have not had a problem with any.
evga, nvidia, xfx, sound cards, capture cards, even logitech for my racing wheel and kbd/mouse have 64 bit drives... if unsure, take a look at the manufacturers site to see if there's any compatibility issues with 64 bit os's. and if they've got vista 64, they work on win7 64 too

I know it wasn't wether to get it or not but for those who don't know which is anyone who hasn't done it you do not need to waste the money in the full version. What I was stating is u can buy the upgrade and no matter vista or XP do a clean install. Also part two if you are running a 64 bit processor you shouldn't even think of 32 bit OS. The advantages are not only ram but professor power. If u have a duo quad or i7 u just wasted ur money unless u got pro or ultimate then you have both 32 and 64 bit os's.
my win 7 ultimate 64-bit

MadDeli you are right about the games and alot of programs that are still written in 32bit architecture but the thing I am talking about is a 64 bit os has less problems running mulitple programs at the same time which in turn makes the OS and programs faster.
IDK I got the 64 bit and I have the 64 bit vista on my laptop.. only thing i see so far is that win7 i cant get some flash videos to play... idk went adobe to get the correct version and they dont have o player for Win7 64... that was like maybe two weeks ago. but some plays so IDK

i have no problems with flash in windows 7 64bit. although i'm using firefox, i don't have any problems w/ ie

ignore kat's comments about flash, she was using internet explorer (64-bit) instead of the 32 bit equivalent (which is much better), but tbh, firefox is the best

chrome is waaay fast. But it won't load a page once in awhile, and I have to refresh. Weird glitch I guess.
